Matt George talks the state of surf journalism

A collection of some of his favorite stories from a lifetime of storytelling and adventure, few writers in the world have the talent and vision to create the narratives that George has over the years. From an innocent profile of a young Kelly Slater—who penned the book’s foreword—to a tsunami disaster zone in Indonesia, he lives the stories he writes.

Matt recently gave an interview to Surfer magazine where he talks about his new book, his interactions with Kelly Slater, and the current state of surf journalism. Click here to read the article.
