Transport yourself two thousand years to a land and time that’s startlingly different, yet strangely familiar. Secure your sword and strap on your helmet for the fiercest, no quarter brawl for freedom, the world has ever known.

  • DescriptiRight from the preface, this book caught my immediate and absolute attention. Morris was creative in using modern slang and humor to make the reader relate to the characters. Although the story is from an ancient time, the reader is able to enjoy to the joking and vulgar expressions from Crixus—and it was especially reminiscent of my five years in the Marine Corps. Reading "Revolting Slaves" was enough to teleport me back to those times and imagine myself as a warrior as savage as Spartacus. This book definitely satisfied my appetite for action and entertainment, and it's left me with the curiosity to see what will happen next!

An engaging story of love, hope and man’s cruelty to man. Accidentally caught up in the chaos and horror of a desperate grab for freedom by a mob of enslaved Roman gladiators, a young shepherd boy encounters life without restraint. Suddenly liberated from the dehumanizing and cruel controls of slavery, he is mesmerized by the euphoria of sudden freedom and appalled by the violent outbursts of unfettered, bloody revenge and unfeeling repression. It is the adventure of his lifetime, blessed by finding love, a life lived in the constant shadow of cruel torture and agonizing death.
